BAUHAUS

The Bauhaus school was founded in 1919 by Walter
Gropius. He and his colleagues wanted to combine
all the work to create a better environment. Its
design principles were based on admiration for
geometry and the machine. in respect of typography
all attempts to devise new letter forms and a strict
geometric base and radical approaches were taken by the typographer Herbert Bayer.
